thats Mt. Fuji. seen from the bullet train
after 1hours,45minutes, we reached there and went to Shin-okubu, Tokyo: for lunch and prayers. there were sooo many halal stores there!!! i got excited coz i was quite hungry that time..

so, we had our lunch at a Thai Muslim restaurant~~~ I LOVE TOM YAM!!!!

neko chan in Shink-Okubo station. (Tokyo is soo packed. that's i dont really like Tokyo..)
after lunch and prayers, we continued our journey to Fukushima. we took another bullet train from Tokyo to Koriyama station. the journey took about 1 hour. as we reached Koriyama station, we saw SNOW!!! well, i was pretty excited as it was my first snow... (Nagoya is not a yukiguni (snow country?) which is a good thing....you'll see why..)

the snow covered the railway track
i thought that it was just a normal snowfall.. well...i was wrong. the train from Koriyama to Inawashiro station was delayed due to heavy snowfall. the train was delayed so, when the train came, there were too many passengers who waited la kan. so, everyone got into the train and it was like in a sardine can.. seriously. the good thing was: it was soo packed that you dont need to worry about tumbling down although you didnt hold onto anything. (faham ke?)
we reached Inawashiro station (i dont remember how many minutes or hours we took) and it was still snowing heavily. the temperature was about 1degrees celcius if i was not mistaken.. it was dark and freezing. the snow was quite thick that it reached my knees. at Inawashiro station, we took a taxi and went to 国立磐梯青少年交流の家kokuritsu bandai seishounen kouryuu no ie. it was snowing heavily that when i walked out of the station to the taxi, when the snow hit me, it was like being attacked by ice cubes... (or was it because it entered my eyes...? hmm...)
after we reached there, we had dinner and then went to our perspectives rooms (6 ppl per room), and got ready for bed.
it was soo tiring. we were lucky that we reached there by 25th. some people who came by car got stuck on the road for 2 days because of the snow lah, some tree fell down lah. stuck 2 days on the road... please harap dijauhkan lah. tak sanggup. pape pun, for those who experienced that, otsukaresamadeshita!
the day after the snow storm
after 4 days in Bandai for the Islamic program, we went back to Nagoya~ the 4 days (or should i say 3 days) were filled with many things: talks by Ustaz Zaharuddin Mohamad, the LDK by the sisters and also riadah activities -which include snowman making. it was fun!!! it was funn!!!!!!!!!
but all good things comes to end as Nelly furtado said in her song~ we have to leave~
